What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 6:00pm.

What ages do you cater for?
We provide childcare and early years education for children aged 6 months – 5 years.

Are you open?
Yes, we are open and operating as The Little Bumblebee Limited under the following Ofsted Registration.


Do you offer settling-in sessions?
Yes, The Little Bumblebee Nursery offers settling-in sessions for children attending private sessions, helping them gradually become comfortable with the nursery environment, daily routines, and caring practitioners before starting fully.

Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes, nutritious meals and snacks are provided throughout the day. We also accommodate dietary requirements and allergies wherever possible.

Are you a term-time or all-year-round nursery?
We offer both term-time and all-year-round attendance options, depending on availability and family requirements.

Do you open on bank holidays?

Funding & Fees

Do you accept funded childcare?
Yes, The Little Bumblebee Nursery accepts both 15 and 30 hours Government-funded childcare for eligible families during term time. We support funded childcare places in Ealing and aim to make high-quality early years education accessible for families. Nursery term dates can also be viewed on our website.

Do you accept Tax-Free Childcare?
Yes, The Little Bumblebee Nursery accepts Tax-Free Childcare payments, helping families in Ealing save on childcare costs while accessing high-quality early years education and childcare services.

Do you accept Universal Credit childcare payments?
Yes, The Little Bumblebee Nursery accepts childcare payments through Universal Credit, helping eligible families in Ealing access affordable, high-quality childcare and early years education.

Do you accept Student Finance childcare support?
Yes, we accept Student Finance childcare support where applicable.

Are consumables included within funded hours?
Additional consumable charges apply for funded sessions. Please see price list.

Is there a registration fee for fully funded children?
No, there is no registration fee for children attending fully funded childcare places. Registration fees only apply where children attend part-private or fully private sessions.

Daily Routine & Care

What does a typical nursery day look like?
Children at The Little Bumblebee Nursery take part in a balanced daily routine which includes free play, adult-led activities, outdoor learning, story time, music and movement, meal times, and rest or sleep routines. All activities are planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to support children’s learning and development across all areas.

Do you follow children’s individual routines?
Yes, especially for babies. We work closely with parents to follow each child’s individual feeding, sleep, and care routines wherever possible, helping children feel comfortable, secure, and supported throughout their day.

Do you accommodate dietary preferences and needs?
Yes — we do our best to accommodate children’s dietary preferences and individual needs, including allergies, cultural requirements, and vegetarian options. As a nut-free nursery, the safety and well-being of all children is extremely important to us, and we work closely with families to ensure dietary requirements are carefully supported.

Will I receive updates about my child during the day?
Yes, parents receive regular updates throughout the day through the EYparent app, including information about meals, naps, nappy changes, activities, and learning experiences.

Do children go outside every day?
Yes, children enjoy regular outdoor walks and local outings as part of their learning experiences. At The Little Bumblebee Nursery, children may visit Pitshanger Lane Park, the local library, and nearby shops, helping to support their confidence, communication, social skills, and understanding of the community around them.

Visits & Registration

Can I visit the nursery before registering?
Yes, we welcome families to book a visit and explore the nursery environment before registering by filling out our enquiry form.

How do I register my child?
Please contact our team by phone, email, or through our website enquiry form to begin the registration process. If you have already attended your visit, you will receive an automated email regarding registration. Please check your spam/junk if they do not come to your inbox.

Is there a waiting list?
Availability can vary throughout the year. Please contact us directly for current availability and waiting list information.

What documents will I need for registration?
We will require Registration Form, Terms & Conditions and Funding form (where applicable).
These forms and documents will be sent to you following your nursery visit. Documents can then be provided in person before your child starts with us.
