We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 6:00pm.

What ages do you cater for?
We provide childcare and early years education for children aged 6 months – 5 years.

Yes, The Little Bumblebee Nursery is an Ofsted Registered nursery in Ealing.

Are you open?
Yes, we are open and operating as The Little Bumblebee Limited under the following Ofsted Registration.


Do you offer settling-in sessions?
Yes, we offer settling-in for children attending private sessions to help them gradually become familiar with the nursery environment, routines, and practitioners.

Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes, nutritious meals and snacks are provided throughout the day. We also accommodate dietary requirements and allergies wherever possible.

Are you a term-time or all-year-round nursery?
We offer both term-time and all-year-round attendance options, depending on availability and family requirements.

Funding & Fees

Do you accept funded childcare?
Yes, we accept both 15 and 30 hour Government-funded childcare, subject to eligibility.

Do you accept Tax-Free Childcare?
Yes, we accept Tax-Free Childcare payments.

Do you accept Universal Credit childcare payments?
Yes, we accept childcare payments through Universal Credit.

Do you accept Student Finance childcare support?
Yes, we accept Student Finance childcare support where applicable.

Are consumables included within funded hours?
Additional consumable charges apply for funded-only sessions. Please see price list.

Do you open on bank holidays?
The nursery is closed on bank holidays.

Daily Routine & Care

What does a typical nursery day look like?
Children take part in a balanced routine
including:
Free play
Adult-led activities
Outdoor learning
Story time
Music and movement
Meal times
Rest and sleep routines
Activities are planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Do you follow children’s individual routines?
Yes, especially for babies and younger children. We work closely with parents to follow feeding, sleep, and care routines wherever possible.

Will I receive updates about my child during the day?
Yes, parents receive regular updates through the EYparent app regarding:
Meals
Sleep
Nappy changes
Activities
Learning and development

Do children go outside every day?
Yes, outdoor play and fresh air experiences form an important part of our daily routine wherever possible.

Visits & Registration

Can I visit the nursery before registering?
Yes, we welcome families to book a visit and explore the nursery environment before registering by filling out our enquiry form.

How do I register my child?
Please contact our team by phone, email, or through our website enquiry form to begin the registration process. If you have already attended your visit, you will receive an automated email regarding registration. Please check your spam/junk if they do not come to your inbox.

Is there a waiting list?
Availability can vary throughout the year. Please contact us directly for current availability and waiting list information.

What documents will I need for registration?
Typically, we will require:
Your child’s birth certificate and passport
Parent/carer photo ID
2x Proof of address dated within the last 3 months
Emergency contact details
Immunisation records
Completed registration forms
